Who we are
This website is run by ARCO Building Services Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08466429). Our registered office and trading address is Unit 19, Riverside Industrial Estate, Rugeley, Staffordshire, WS15 2YR.
We are the controller of the personal information described here. If you have any questions, email info@arcobuildingservices.com or call 0800 084 2726.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website we receive your name, email address, company name (if you give it), the service you’re interested in and your message. If you contact us by email or phone, we receive the details you choose to share.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic technical information (such as your browser type) so the site can be delivered and protected from abuse. This website does not set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use your enquiry to reply to you, understand your requirements and, if you ask, prepare a quote. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We will not add you to marketing lists from a website enquiry.
Who handles it for us
We never sell your information. We use a small number of trusted providers who process it on our behalf and only on our instructions:
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365). Website enquiries are delivered to, and stored in, our business email.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes your IP address and technical data to deliver and secure it.
- Google Fonts. Your browser loads the fonts on this site from Google, which receives your IP address to do so.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by the UK’s approved contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry doesn’t lead to work, we keep it for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete it. If it does, we keep the relevant records for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet our legal and accounting obligations, normally six years.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to you or another organisation. We will respond within one month. To make a request, contact us using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
